Space Foundation Partners with Victory Service Dogs to Honor Veterans This Memorial Day
Written by: Space Foundation Editorial Team
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — May 19, 2026 — Space Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 to advance the global space community, today announced a new partnership with Victory Service Dogs in honor of Memorial Day.
During the month of May, every $45 donation made to Space Foundation will provide an immersive science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) experience for a student and a Discovery Center Passport membership to a Victory Service Dogs veteran. This membership offers a full year of access to Space Foundation Discovery Center and more than 350 science centers and museums worldwide.
“This Memorial Day, we want to give something back. Our partnership with Victory Service Dogs feels especially meaningful by honoring service and connecting veterans with resources that expand their world, from Colorado Springs to science centers across the globe.” CEO Heather Pringle.
Victory Service Dogs is a Colorado-based nonprofit providing hands-on service dog training for veterans, first responders and children with disabilities. Through its structured program, clients and their dogs become fully trained service dog teams.
Since its founding, Victory Service Dogs has supported more than 300 teams. Together, these teams build greater independence, pursue education and employment, and find their way back to the communities they serve. For many, the journey means restored confidence, improved mental health, and a fuller life.
“Our work is about restoring independence and building resilience. We’re proud to stand alongside partners like Space Foundation who are also shaping stronger, more capable communities,” Steve Corey, CEO of Victory Service Dogs.
