Space Foundation Headquarters Closed Today; Education Programs Continue as Planned

Notice: Space Foundation headquarters (4425 Arrowswest Dr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) is closed because of proximity to the Waldo Canyon fire in Colorado Springs. Because the power grid was taken down as a precautionary measure, there may be intermittent issues with email and phones.
The Space Foundation Discovery Institute (105 Coleridge Ave., Colorado Springs) – where we teach many of our Space Across the Curriculum courses – is far from the fire zone. Space Foundation education programs, including our Space Across the Curriculum Rocketry course at Colorado State University – Pueblo and activities in Trinidad in conjunction with Trinidad State Junior College continue as scheduled.
We have been in contact with Space Foundation Colorado Springs team members and believe all are safe, however many are affected by evacuations. Therefore, you may not be able to reach us directly.
