Festival of Science will be Jan. 31 The second annual Space Foundation Festival of Science will be held Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., in the gymnasium of the Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy, 4220 East Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo.

The purpose of the Festival is to interest middle school students and their families in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. More than 200 Colorado Springs area students and their families attended last year’s Festival, which featured interactive displays and activities by 16 Colorado organizations.

There is no charge to participate in the Festival and no charge for students to attend.
