Written by: developer

The Space Symposium’s Exhibit Center is an effective arena for motivating young people to pursue careers in that require science, technology, enigeering and mathmatics (STEM) proficiency.

This year, almost 280 middle school and high school students and their chaperones toured the Lockheed Martin Exhibit Center and Pavilion, where they saw an amazing array of technologies and applications in the exciting realm of space. The students, most from the Colorado Front Range, were able to get into the exclusive tour spots because they were in classes and organizations led by Space Foundation Teacher Liaisons. The tours, structured to provide a truly educational experience, included stops a pre-selected “Destination Booths,” where space professional delivered mini-programs about their companies and products.
