Colorado Celebrates Aerospace Day at the Capitol

Written by: developer

On March 20, aerospace professionals from around the Centennial State gathered at the State Capitol in Denver. Celebrated every year, Aerospace Day at the Capitol is a full day of networking and dialogue with Colorado Legislators discussing how Colorado became, and can maintain being one of the largest space economies in the nation.

Attendees had the opportunity to visit the House and Senate, as well as the House and Senate Chambers. Several exhibitors were on site as well, representing the best and brightest that Colorado has to offer the aerospace industry.

An afternoon session (pictured above) featured the Aerospace Caucus, “Education and the Aerospace Workforce Pipeline,” where the overall theme was working together through partnerships, and that we all need to be responsible for encouraging and engaging students to pursue STEM fields.
