Key congressional staff members share insight at Strategic Space and Defense 2006

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sep. 18, 2006) — Today the Space Foundation announced the addition of a special-focus panel to the agenda for Strategic Space and Defense 2006. The Space Foundation and Space News present the conference October 10-12, 2006, at the Qwest Center Omaha Convention Center and Arena. `Operational Impact Programs, Budgets and Capitol Hill` will bring Washington, D.C., perspectives and insight to address key issues affecting both the U.S. Strategic Command and contractor communities. The panel is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12. Dr. Rob Soofer, professional staff member, Senate Armed Services Committee, and Mr. Josh Hartman, professional staff member, Committee on Appropriations, United States House of Representatives, are speaking on the panel. Mr. Bill Adkins, president, Adkins Strategies, LLC, will moderate. Strategic Space and Defense 2006 addresses both the space-related and strategic missions of the U.S. Strategic Command.
