Space Foundation Activates Alternate Worksites

Written by: Space Foundation Editorial Team

“In response to the ongoing Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, the Space Foundation is limiting operations at its Colorado Springs Headquarters, effective the close of business, March 13th. For the next two weeks (March 14-March 29), the Space Foundation is activating alternative worksites for all of its team members.  Normal operations are expected to resume on Monday, March 30th.

The Space Foundation’s Discovery Center will also be closed during this time period and is expected to reopen for visitors and tours on Tuesday, March 31st.

During this time period (March 14-March 29), Space Foundation staff will continue to monitor their phones and email for regular correspondence and continued business operations.

Persons and organizations making inquiries regarding the recent postponement of the 36th Space Symposium, should direct their questions via email to Customer Relations at [email protected]. Space Foundation staff will work to expeditiously address each and every inquiry and we ask for your patience as we respond to each of those submissions. Due to the expected volume of questions and requests, response times may be longer than usual.  We will strive to respond within 2 business days.

Members of the media seeking additional information should contact [email protected].

This decision has been made with an abundance of caution and to keep our Space Foundation team, volunteers and visitors safe, and to do our part to keep our community healthy and safe.”
