New Team Members Join Space Foundation The Space Foundation welcomes three new team members:

Nancy Reed, director – marketing & creative services, has a broad and diverse marketing background, including product management, marketing communications, strategic planning and overall marketing management. She was most recently the director of marketing & strategic planning for Versi-Panel Enclosures & Companion Habitats, Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo. She also served as product development manager for Alta Colleges (Denver), category manager for Ingersoll-Rand/Schlage Lock (Colorado Springs), and career services director/adjunct instructor for Colorado Technical University (Colorado Springs), in addition to marketing positions with Medlogic Global Corporation, Denver Technical University, Ceram, Inc., Edge Emitter, and Cypress Semiconductor/Inova. She has a B.S. degree in business administration from Regis University.

Amy Mirocha, graphic designer, has experience in visual communications, corporate and brand identity, non-profit promotion, design of a wide variety of print and online collateral for corporate marketing, large community events and trade shows. She relocated to Colorado Springs over a year ago and was most recently a graphic designer for Advocate Health Care in Park Ridge, Ill., where she worked for six years. She has also served as production manager for the Naperville (Ill.) Park District, graphic artist for CarePak (Prospect Heights, Ill.) and as production artist for Shaker Advertising Agency (Oak Park, Ill.). Amy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in design from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale).

Elias Molen, space education specialist, recently relocated to the Monument (Colo.) area from Leadville, Colo., where he was science department chair at Lake County High School, and a member of the Lake County School District R-1 district leadership team and the building leadership team, in addition to his teaching responsibilities. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical studies/chemistry and a Master of Arts in teaching, both from George Fox University in Newberg, Ore. He is a gifted teacher, coach and youth leader who has taught a variety of subjects, including chemistry, physics, oceanography, astronomy, meteorology and science.

All three are located in Colorado Springs – Reed and Mirocha at Space Foundation Headquarters and Molen at the Space Foundation Discovery Institute.
