Space Foundation Discovery Center

The Space Foundation Discovery Center, located at our world headquarters in Colorado Springs, comprises the Northrop Grumman Science Center, featuring Science On a Sphere® (SOS), the El Pomar Space Gallery and classroom/laboratory facilities for pre-kindergarten through graduate-level courses, educator professional development, educational multimedia events and presentations for the general public.

The Space Foundation Discovery Center is the location for our Sphere SOS-based classes and a destination for class/youth group field trips and special programs.

The Northrop Grumman Scienec Center was funded by a $375,000 donation from Space Foundation platinum-level corporate partner Northrop Grumman Corp.

The Space Foundation reserves the right to alter the program, dates or speakers of events held at the Space Foundation Discovery Center at any time.
