Written by: developer
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Jun. 17, 2010) -- During a week of full-day, graduate level studies, 13 teachers from four states are designing and launching rockets in the Space Foundation Space Across the Curriculum teacher professional development class, "Rocketry: The Future of Human Space Exploration." The lessons include a variety of rockets and both indoor and outdoor launches.
The class is one of several offered this summer at the Space Foundation Discovery Institute in Colorado Springs. The classes provide educators with space-related STEM education knowledge and content that is instantly transferable to the classroom. Participants can earn continuing education credits, graduate credits, or work toward a master's degree in multiple related disciplines.
