Congressional Space Series
Professional Development Series for Congressional Staffers interested in gaining a broader understanding of the space ecosystem
Space Foundation is pleased to invite you to the inaugural cohort of our Congressional Space Series, a set of five in-person lunch & learn sessions tailored specifically for Congressional staff. These classes will provide an overview of the space ecosystem and explore current issues facing the civil, commercial, and national security sectors of space illuminating that every congressional district has a connection to space.
Led by government and military officials as well as policy experts, each session will offer a deep dive into the rapidly evolving space landscape, equipping you with valuable knowledge to inform your work in this vital area.
The series will take place over the course of 5 weeks, with the first class kicking off on Friday, November 8, 2024. Each class with run from 12:00-1:30 pm on Fridays in Rayburn 2325.
Lunch will be provided at each session, and we encourage you to register early, as space in this inaugural cohort is limited. This series is an excellent opportunity to enhance your understanding of space-related policy issues and gain a robust framework understanding of the global space sector.
