Front Range Airport received a spaceport license from the FAA earlier this month creating the new Colorado Air and Space Port.

The Space Foundation recently provided STEM programming to visiting college-level students at a Lincoln Learning Center in Kabul, through oversight by the U.S. Embassy.

The Space Foundation receives support from a wide range of Corporate Members, who make it possible for us to successfully deliver programs that advance space-related endeavors. In return, our Corporate Members receive recognition, marketing, business development and networking opportunities, reports on important space issues and opportunities for deep involvement in the annual Space Symposium.

Thanks to the generosity of the Grainger Foundation, hundreds of students in Colorado will be afforded the opportunity to take a field trip to the Space Foundation Discovery Center. This week, Rich Stiner, Operation Manager for W.W. Grainger Inc, Colorado Springs, presented the Space Foundation with a check for $2,500.00.

U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) toured the Space Foundation Discovery Center in Colorado Springs this week with his family and met with Space Foundation leadership.

The Petit Family Foundation and the Space Foundation share a common interest in fostering the education of young people.

Based in Plainville, Connecticut, the Petit Family Foundation also works to improve the lives of those affected by chronic illnesses and to support efforts to protect and help those affected by violence, in honor of the memories of Jennifer Hawke-Petit, Hayley Elizabeth Petit and Michaela Rose Petit.

The Space Foundation’s annual Space Symposium brings together leaders from commercial, government and military space from around the world, providing a forum to discuss, address and plan for future achievements in space.
