2014 International Student Art Contest

The 2014 Space Foundation International Student Art Contest theme "My Spaceship Looks Like..." challenged students worldwide, ages 3-18, to design their own spaceship - and then interpret that idea into an original work of visual art (drawing, painting, mixed media or digital art).

We had a huge response from students across the globe! We received more than 7,100 entries representing 54 countries, including 43 U.S. states and two U.S. territories – our largest contest yet since it began four years ago!

Awards and Prizes

The Space Foundation awarded prizes to 25 winners: 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place for each of eight age categories were awarded a certificate, ribbon, personalized astronaut autograph and a prize. In addition, the Space Foundation awarded one Space Foundation Achievement Award, which was selected by the Space Foundation graphic arts team.
