Elon Musk to speak at 22nd National Space Symposium

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Mar. 28, 2006) — The Space Foundation announced today that Elon Musk, chairman and chief executive officer, Space Exploration Technologies, will speak at the 22nd National Space Symposium. Musk will address attendees Wednesday, April 5 at 11:30 a.m. The most senior leaders from civil, commercial, and national security space organizations attend the conference, which takes place April 3-6, 2006, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Musk founded SpaceX in 2002 to develop a family of launch vehicles intended to reduce the cost and increase the reliability of access to space. Musk was a co-founder of PayPal, and his early experience extends across a spectrum of advanced technology industries. He earned a Physics Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Business Degree from Wharton. The focus on commercial space will continue when Dr. Peter H.
