Costume Ball Raises Funds for Discovery Center Field Trips

The Space Foundation annually presents a Halloween fundraiser at its Discovery Center in Colorado Springs to raise money for STEM education. The 3rd Annual Space & Science Fiction Costume Ball on Oct. 25 raised money to provide scholarships for students and teachers to experience hands-on field trips to the Discovery Center.

Facilities at the Discovery Cener include the Northrop Grumman Science Center featuring Science On a Sphere® and the Lockheed Martin Space Education Center, which includes  the AGI Space Missions Simulation Laboratory, Mars Robotics Laboratory and Education Activity Center.

The Discovery Center was designed from the ground up to be a STEM-purposed center of formal and informal education and is open to the public Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. See more about visiting the Discovery Center here.
