Colorado Springs Space Concert Coming in October
Written by: developer
Here’s good news for anyone who enjoyed the spectacular opening ceremony concert at the 25th National Space Symposium this past April — the Space Foundation and the Colorado Springs Philharmonic are teaming up again this autumn for a local pops concert, The Final Frontier, presenting music from popular science fiction epics, including Independence Day, Armageddon, and Cocoon.
“We’re especially pleased to partner again with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and conductor Thomas Wilson,” said Space Foundation Chief Executive Officer Elliot Pulham. “The Philharmonic is one of the finest professional symphonies in the country.”
The concert will be held at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts on Oct. 17.
