The United States will hold elections this month for all 435 seats in the House of Representatives, 33 Senate seats and the office of the President. The Space Foundation will track the results of the election through our 2012 U.S. Election Tracking Report, which will list the results of the election for members who sit on committees with jurisdiction over space policy and/or have space-related constituencies and the presidency.

The lists are organized by committee and sorted by seniority.

The committees include:

  • House Committee on Science, Space & Technology
  • House Committee on Appropriations
  • House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
  • House Armed Services Committee
  • House Committee on Foreign Affairs
  • Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation
  • Senate Committee on Appropriations
  • Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
  • Senate Armed Services Committee
  • Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs
  • Senate Committee on Foreign Relations

The 2012 U.S. Election Tracking Report will be made available the day after the election. Races that are too close to call will be updated appropriately in the future. The 2012 U.S. Election Tracking Report will be made available on our website at: www.SpaceFoundation.org/research.

The report is now available here.
