Betty Sapp to be a Featured Speaker at Classified Faga Forum on Space Intelligence

Based on recent success with classified programming at the Space Foundation’s annual Space Symposium and customer demand for similar programming, the Space Foundation is convening a one-day classified event in the metro Washington, D.C., area in Chantilly, Va., at Scitor Corporation, an SAIC company, on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016. The Faga Forum on Space Intelligence will connect participants with government and industry decision makers, versed in national security space and intelligence issues to discuss current challenges, opportunities and solutions.

One of the featured speakers at the Faga Forum will be Betty Sapp, Director of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Other confirmed speakers include:

  • Martin Faga, former Director, National Reconnaissance Office
  • Chirag Parikh, Director for Space, National Security Council
  • Kay Sears, President, Intelsat General Corp.

The event is named for the Space Foundation’s Director Emeritus, and former Chairman, Marty Faga, former Director of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space.
