Space Technology & Investment Forum Attendees are Invited to Participate in StartUp Showcase

At the close of the Space Technology & Investment Forum, on Wednesday, Aug. 17, the StartUp Showcase Reception will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Skyline B&C on the 21st floor at the J.W. Marriott Union Square-San Francisco.

Forum attendees can learn more about the featured startups, and startups can widen their circle of influence within the space industry, while also meeting some of the most innovative, insightful and visionary individuals from the investment sectors of space and technology.

Both young entrepreneurs and seasoned professionals will benefit from having a trusted network of like-minded individuals to reach out to for information, mentorship, adviceand other unique opportunities. This reception is designed to help folks make those connections.

Although this is a professional event, it is still meant to be quick-moving, light-hearted and fun. The underlying goal is for participants to learn as much as they can about each other while business cards are exchanged, hands are shaken and cocktails are consumed. Two hours is a short period of time to slearn if there are any synergies that merit an email, phone call or a follow up meeting in the days and weeks to follow.

The pre-selected startups will have an assigned table with a stanchion holding a sign with the company name on it to make it easier to be identified and approached by interested parties. Basic information about the participating startups will be distributed to the forum attendees prior to the event.

SatelliteFinance Conference attendees were also invited to network at the Startup showcase reception before kicking off their own event with a dinner that evening in an adjacent ballroom.
