Our headquarters volunteer opportunities vary! PLEASE NOTE: We currently do not have any remote volunteer opportunities available. Our volunteer opportunities in our headquarters, are generally IN-PERSON in our Colorado Springs headquarters office, and our DC office. We currently do not have active volunteer opportunities, but if you would like to reach out to our volunteer team with your interest when future volunteer opportunities arise, we are happy to keep your information filed and reach out to you. For event volunteer opportunities, Space Foundation's team is always looking for new volunteers for the Space Symposium as well. Please note: All opportunities are for in-person volunteering for the Space Symposium. Out of town volunteers would need to plan to pay for their lodging/travel, etc. if they would like to come to Colorado Springs to volunteer at the Space Symposium. Year-Round & Project-Based Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteer opportunities are always changing and evolving. We are currently recruiting for IT Support volunteering, and Web Design/Development. Please reach out to our volunteer team for additional information and to set up a time to talk about these two volunteer areas. Please note: These two volunteer opportunities are for in-person here in our Colorado Springs headquarters office. We currently do not have any remote volunteer opportunities.
Thank you for your interest in Space Foundation and how you may be able to support us through volunteering. The Space Symposium, which happens annually, in the April timeframe, is a great way to support the industry and Space Foundation with volunteering. We also have volunteering opportunities in our Space Foundation Discovery Center. Those are currently on “pause” until we complete a large renovation and expansion. We plan to re-open in Spring of 2024. Do reach out to Jillian Durkee, Volunteer Coordinator, to let her know you’d like to hear from her in March of 2024 with more information on volunteering in the Discovery Center.
