Educators

Teachers brave the river during a searching for life activity.

The Space Foundation's mission is "To advance space-related endeavors to inspire, enable and propel humanity." Educational outreach is one avenue that the Space Foundation implements to inspire, enable and propel the next generation of explorers.

Programs

Programs for both teachers and their students are available. Teachers can fortify their curriculum with space science by attending the Space Across the Curriculum courses, becoming a Teacher Liaison, and even earning professional development or graduate credit towards several different accredited Master's programs. The Science, Technology and Academic Readiness for Space or S.T.A.R.S. program brings the Space Foundation's dedicated and knowledgeable staff to your classroom/school. For more information, check out the programs page.
