Space Foundation Supports Colorado Wildfire Relief

Written by: developer

Wildfire season continues in Colorado, and during June the most devastating wildfire in Colorado’s history occurred with the Black Forest fire just north of Colorado Springs, which destroyed more than 500 homes and killed two people.

To help people affected by Colorado wildfires, the Space Foundation Discovery Center has been designated a collection point for Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado. The public may bring food donations to the Space Foundation Discovery Center, 4425 Arrowswest Drive, Colorado Springs, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays. Anyone bringing a food donation will receive a $2 off admission coupon to the Discovery Center.

The Space Foundation is also offering free admission to its Discovery Center to anyone affected by the Colorado wildfires and to first responders.
