One way to excite children about a future in space is to ask them to create their vision of space. The 2017 Space Foundation International Student Art Contest is doing just that by inviting children around the world to create art based on the theme "Space Through My Eyes..."

The Space Foundation is continually expanding its global horizons, connecting with space leaders and customers from around the world at a varity of events, including the 67th International Astronautical Congress (IAC), held in Guadalajara, Mexico, Sept. 26-30.
The goal with selecting judges for the Space Foundation's annual International Student Art Contest is to choose talented, trained, professional artists from diverse backgrounds who can contribute various perspectives to the daunting task of sorting through thousands of artwork entries.Artwork submitted for the 2017 contest will be reviewed by a panel of outstanding artists, including:

In 2010, artist Nancy Reed was hired by the Space Foundation for the new position of Director - Marketing. The Space Foundation's flagship publication The Space Report: The Authoritative Guide to Global Space Activity is often cited as a source in news reports about the global space industry. The Space Report is published annually by the Space Foundation, and contains worldwide space facts and figures, and is illustrated with photographs, charts and graphs.
