“On behalf of the entire Space Foundation team and our global community of space advocates, I am delighted to congratulate Jared Isaacman on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate as the 15th Administrator of NASA.
Mr. Isaacman brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit, first-hand commercial space experience, and a bold vision for the future of space exploration. His commitment to ensuring the United States at the forefront of this new era of space – particularly with the momentum of the Artemis program – will strengthen NASA’s leadership and ability to inspire the world. Space Foundation looks forward to collaborating with Administrator Isaacman and the dedicated team at NASA to drive continued success and expand humanity’s reach into the cosmos.”
In April 2025, Jared Isaacman, along with the crew and team of the Polaris Dawn mission, were recognized with the John L. “Jack” Swigert Jr. Award for Space Exploration. The unprecedented commercial spaceflight demonstrated new spacesuits, communications technologies and spacewalks at the highest Earth orbit ever flown. The award was accepted by Todd Ericson, the Polaris Dawn mission director, and two of its crew, Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon, on April 8, 2025, at the 40th Space Symposium.
