Senator Bennet's Office Shows Support for Aerospace and STEM Education

Roger T. Low, who handles aerospace issues for the office of U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), toured Space Foundation World Headquarters on May 20 to see the region's first and only space, science and technology attraction -- the Space Foundation Discovery Center.

The Space Foundation Discovery Center reflects the Space Foundation's commitment to formal and informal education and houses the Northrop Grumman Science Center and the El Pomar Space Gallery, the site of Science On a Sphere® and Sphere-based education courses, educator professional development courses, public space artifact displays and space awareness presentations, including the popular Audience with an Astronaut. The El Pomar Space Gallery is being expanded to include new exhibits and artifacts, such as the Scott Carpenter Station, designed by NASA and used for seafloor research.

The public is invited to visit the Space Foundation Discovery Center this summer to learn about the wonders of space and how space technology enhances our life on Earth.
